Bali – Ubud (Part 2) Komaneka Tanggayuda

We decided to end our time in Ubud with a few nights in a boutique hotel. There are so many great hotels in Ubud to choose from, it was a tough decision.  Contenders included the Hanging Gardens (incredible pool but perhaps a bit remote), Uma by Como (definitely one for another time), the Royal Pita Maha and the Four Seasons. Eventually, after reading lots of reviews (and I mean a LOT), we decided on the Komaneka resorts.  There are four Komanekas in Ubud and we decided on Tanggayuda – mainly for its incredible infinity pool but also because of its location.  The hotel is set in a peaceful valley, overlooking rice fields and lush rainforest, but it was only a 10 minute drive to central Ubud should you wish to venture out (as it turns out, we didn’t!)
